What to expect

Come and enjoy a day of linocut printmaking. Many great artists have made linocut and woodcuts, including Picasso, the German Expressionist Schmidt Rotluff, Edward Bawden, Sybil Andrews, and many more. We will start the day by looking at some great examples of what a linocut can be, learn the process, and then set to work developing a drawn image before cutting and printing. Depending on your previous experience, you can make a single colour lino cut or explore reduction prints using more than one colour. The cost includes all materials (inks and paper) and one piece of lino, but you will be able to purchase more if you want to.
