What to expect

This is a five week course on 5 consecutive Tuesdays starting on Tuesday Jan 13th This course will be a playful exploration of still life, inspired by artists who have used the simple arrangement of objects on a table as a catalyst for explorations of shape, colour and space. Inspired by artists such as Ben Nicholson, Anne Redpath and William Scott, we will investigate composition, colour and media, experimenting with painting, collage and printmaking to create still lives approached in fresh ways. Each week you will be presented with a new challenge and focus and the course will progress in response to the discoveries and ideas of the participants, so anything could happen! This course is suitable for anyone who enjoys a creative challenge.
