October Young Artist Weekend

What to expect

This will be an intensive 2 day course for keen artists of secondary school age. October half term is an ideal time to make a real difference to GCSE and A level coursework submissions and it is amazing how much work can be produced over two days. If you need to boost your coursework, we can help! Some students may be preparing portfolios for art school applications and need to show they have worked beyond the school curriculum. Others may be in the position of not having done art as an A level or GCSE but now need to submit a portfolio for an Architecture or Design degree. This course will offer everyone the opportunity to produce new work using a range of media and approaches. Each day will be designed in response to the participating students, according to their needs and ambitions. Students will receive individual tuition and portfolio advice. The course will be taught by Louise Sturgis who has many years of experience in teaching artists of all ages and helping them make successful applications to top art schools.
